I unfortunately bought a counterfeit Fendi bag (Order no. 27374683) from Vestiaire who always boasts that they authenticate all products that are sold on their platform. I receive the bag today and the brand tag inside the bag spells "FFNDI" (!) instead of FENDI [please see attached photos]. I have already spotted this from the sellers' photos after I ve placed the order (my fault of overlooking this detail when I hit the "buy" button) and raised this to Vestiaire and wanted to cancel my order. However, they only said their "experts" of authenticators will look at it when they received the item. I am appalled that they missed out this very obvious failure and still sent this counterfeit to me! On top of this ridiculous mis-spelling, some other details of the bag are rather poorly made that can be signs of a counterfeit. Even a layman like me can spot that. How can some "experts" miss that out? If they cannot perform their authenticating job, they should not say so and make this as their selling point to attract people to buy items from them.
Please be careful when buying from Vestiaire. Obviously they cannot authenticate and one is still taking the risks of getting fake items there.

I am writing this review regarding an issue I have with my account. I am an expert seller on VC, but I constantly see my pieces being rejected by Vestiaire curation team. The problem is that the pieces I see rejected, are for sale in Vestiaire in several accounts, I mean, are common on Vestiaire. I have contacted VC several times, and I am being told that there is no reason for the rejection, but that I should wait for an answer from the curation team. But the answer does not come. I think VC should be a fair market place, and we all should be treaten equal. We all deserve the same opportunities. And I think I am being wronged. I really hope VC can resolve this situation. I will be very grateful.

I just bought a bag from Vestiaire collective and it came not as described. I tried reaching out to customer service on their website 3 times and got no response, I also sent two emails and got no response. I am very disappointed and won't be buying from Vestiaire ever again!
I was scammed on this website by one of their buyers.
Vestiaire did not help to investigate nor to make contact with the buyer.
I have reported to actionfraud, interpol action, fbi, and various other authorities.
Please be careful using this site especially on chat, email and bids.
Such a rubbish app. The buyer returned me a fake bag. I have contacted the customer service but it was just AI responding and never solve the problem.

This is the worst resale company ever. They cancelled my sale after it shipped so I lost my money and my item. The customer service is a joke. They take days to respond, and when they finally answer it’s a robotic, generic response. They are unethical, unhelpful, and by far the riskiest place to buy or sell. If you like losing money and your items, shop on vestiaire collective.
I placed a few listing with a transparent background. Only for then to made public two days later with a horrible unprofessional black background. They dont offer me the option to change it myself to images with a white background. They told me to send them the images with a white background for them to correct the listing. Over a week later and they have done nothing! They say they take up to 48 hours to resolve the issue even though it is extremely simple. A week later and they have done nothing. I have to remove my listing and post them again from scratch. They take 15% from all your sales and do a horrible job. They constantly send me emails and messages to lower my prices by huge amounts. They want to get money from you and they alter the images you use in your listing making them look horrible, their is no way to change or edit the images on your listing; they told me to send them images with white instead of transparent background and that it would be resolved in less then 48 hours. It has been over a week and they have done nothing and are ignoring all my attempts at contracting them!!

VESTIAIRE COLLECTIVE IS HORRIBLE
When the direct shipping started I was worried, so I contacted customer service how to protect myself in case the buyer damages something, they told me that I need to take a picture of the item and with the label! I always did, however they never check with the seller (another lie from Vestiaire) this time the "buyer" ripped holes into a brand new item, Vestiaire sent me some of their useless auto-replies as apparently they do not have customer service just mindless auto-reply drones, also the top was DRENCHED into a horrible perfume, causing me as an asthmatic to have an asthma attack, the item also has now sweat marks under the arms, I sent out a brand new item. Vestiaire refuses to even reply and send auto replies that the item was not OK. BEWARE of the liars and cheats. I shall be reporting them as not only has my item (new and with label) been damaged but they also endangered my health, asthma attacks are not funny!
First they reply:

I will be raising your inquiry to our Expert Team, please be sure that we are doing everything we possibly can to find the suitable solution, and as quickly as possible.

AGAIN I tell them I have pictures with the shipping label back and front, no holes in the item. I get the usual spam bot reply (picture attached):

Your buyer reported an issue regarding the conformity of your item. As a matter of fact, she noticed a hole in the back ( see photo attached).
This element shows a real difference between the item received and its description, which justifies cancelling your sale.
In addition to this, your seller's rating has been impacted which may lead to your Trusted Seller or Expert Seller badge being withdrawn.

I WOULD LIKE TO STRESS THAT WHILE I REPEATEDLY OFFERED THE PICTURES WITH THE SHIPPING LABEL, THEY REFUSED TO LOOK AT THEM. BE AWARE THAT WITH DIRECT SHIPPING YOU HAVE NO PROTECTION, THEY LIE TO YOU!
Also they try and force you to use the app, by using the app you waive all privacy right, on the website you can't confirm availability of your items, so this is a direct GDPR violation that needs to be reported and they need to get fined for it!

The experience was awesome. I really like the sweatshirt!I have now been buying and selling on Vestiaire app for more than 3 years.
I have always been very satisfied with my purchases or sales and with the level of service they have provided me with.
They don't say it enough, but you can purchase any local item (in your country) without any fee (shipping or authentication), which is the case in no other similar platform as far as I know.

How strange, most of us have made really bad experiences and have had no customer service...

Safe and secure to purchase high ticket items. Bag was as described. Love my "new" bag.

I had a great shopping experience. The item I received was exactly as described. Fast shipping.


It was nice to be able to track the package and to know the status of delivery. Isabelle marant jumper was in good condition as described.
